Coachbuilder

The German automobile history is rich in car body builders long gone, and Elomnibus is busy trying to bring their heritage to the 21st century.
Coachbuilder Voll & Ruhrbeck
This time we focus on Voll & Ruhrbeck, a Berlin-based company that built carriages mainly for Mercedes Benz from 1920 to 1945.

Rolls Royce Phantom III 1937 Convertible
In the first half of the 20th century, Voll & Ruhrbeck was a well-known name in the German automobile sector. Only 60 years later, almost everyone seems to have forgotten about a company that built beautiful carriages not only for Mercedes Benz, but also for other famous names like Bugatti or Maybach. The manufacturer gained its fame in the 1920's when constructing so called Torpedo-superstructures for Benz- and Protos-chassis frames.
