 In the years between 1904 and 1928, the Apolda factory Ruppe & Son (since 1912 "Apollo Corp.") produced automobiles of the brand "Piccolo" and "Apollo" in different designs.  The popularity of these vehicles resulted from the relatively low price, the good quality and the successes in national and international car races in those days.
