 Probably aimed at both the commutor market and for the younger elements of the motorcycle fraternity, looking for a lightweight economic solo with a reliable reputation, the BSA factory produced a series of 250cc single cylinder unit constuction cleanly designed machines to fulfil this need.
(click in the images) Superseding the C10 the C11 was four stroke ohv with four speed gearbox, air cooled, chain driven and admirably suited for its purpose. This particular C11 is in a very original and unspoiled condition with lots of the paint and bright work still original.
It starts at first kick and is running well. Originally sold new by the then well known Dutch motorcycle dealer Willy van Gent Rotterdam.
