The models R25-1 and R25-2 had wheels of 19" diameter and a 12 horsepower engine. By 1953 the new BMW R25-3, featuring an 18" wheel became available. In 1955 BMW produced the 15hp R25-3.

This motorbike was much more beautiful than earlier models. BMW sold a lot of these bikes to German and foreign governments, as well as NATO machines in olive green livery.

This is a well restored vehicle.
