![]() After the war BMW began to produce new motorbikes with single-cylinder engines. The new BMW R24 was based on the old pre-war R23. After this machine BMW followed with the R25. ![]() The models R25-1 and R25-2 had wheels of 19" diameter and a 12 horsepower engine. By 1953 the new BMW R25-3, featuring an 18" wheel became available. In 1955 BMW produced the 15hp R25-3. ![]() This motorbike was much more beautiful than earlier models. BMW sold a lot of these bikes to German and foreign governments, as well as NATO machines in olive green livery. This is a well restored vehicle.
