![]() In 1948, when the Series Morris Minor was introduced at the Earls Court Motor Show, only a two-door saloon and a Tourer model were produced of the Morris Minor. In 1962 a stronger 1098cc engine powered the Morris Minor 1000. With it came an other gearbox and differential.
The exterior of the car remained unchanged until October 1963 when the combined indicator and brake lights appeared at the rear of the car. On the front combined side/indicator lamps were installed and the windscreen wipers were working in tandem. Also the Left door of the Morris Minor got an exterior lock. In October 1964 there were big changes made to the inside of the Minor. The interior trim was completely revised and new heat-formed vinyl panels were used on the doors and chairs.
The dashboard was completely revised. On the passengers side a glovebox lid appeared. The speedometer changed from bronze-coloured to black and almost all the switches were different. Besides that the larger square-formed heater is dominant on the parcel shelf. This Car is a well restored vehicle. The Beijing Company Hua De Feng Ying offers this vehicle for sale.
