![]() ![]() The Maserati 8 CM first appeared in the Tunis Grand Prix of 1933 where the very active Zehender got away with a third position. The first victory at an international event came in July 1933 at the Belgian Grand Prix with Nuvolari in the snug fitting drivers seat. ![]() Total production of the CM Monoposto was 18 which nearly all were ordered directly by private teams from the Bologna works. Chassis numbers ran from 3003 up to 3022. The first one being an engine only, which was used by Premoli in a Bugatti(!) chassis. ![]() It was delivered new to Earl Howe in England 1934. From then up to this day the car has an unbroken history without vague spots and with everything documented. ![]() The car is in top condition and has a subtily uprated chassis and roadholding characteristics. It is the connoisseur "toy" for Historic Racing at prestiguous topevents like the Monaco Grand Prix. ![]() Short racing history: 1934 Grand Prix of Monaco 10th 1936 German Grand Prix 10th 1936 Junior Car Club 200mile Race 4th 1936 Donington Grand Prix RTD 1936 Limerick Grand Prix 3th » ask us ![]() |
